NATASA RADANOVIC THE ARTIST

About me

Natasa Radanovic, born in Foca in 1971, is a painter and artist with Montenegrin origins and sensibility.
Growing up in Gorazde, she completed her elementary and high school education there before pursuing incomplete studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Her affinity for the arts was evident from an early age, seemingly ingrained in her DNA.
She actively participated in various artistic pursuits during her school years, including painting, acting, recitals, and music. Additionally, Natasa wrote prose and poetry, which was published in several publications such as the “Drinske Novosti” newspaper, “Azot” publication, “Prakticna Zena” magazine, and “Pancevac.”

After relocating to Sweden, Natasa joined the “Tomorrow” theater group. As part of the troupe, she had the opportunity to be an extra in two Kurt Wallander movies produced for the Swedish and English markets, further expanding her artistic experience. During the same period, Natasa was selected to participate in a musical project with the Swedish band “Raw,” collaborating with Maja Gustafson as a solo artist. The performance was recorded at the National Theater “Ystadsteater.” Following her move to Malmo, she wholeheartedly devoted herself to painting as a self-taught contemporary artist.

Natasa has gradually developed her artistic identity based on personal and symbolic experiences. Her paintings emanate pure emotions, blending seamlessly with elements of water, land, and sky, creating mesmerizing visions depicted with a harmonious palette of blues, greens, purples, and yellows on canvas.

In May 2021, Natasa had her first exhibition organized by the “Belgrade Art Show” at the “Potkovica” gallery within the “Vlada Divljan” cultural center in Belgrade. Since then, she has held four independent exhibitions, participated in five charity exhibitions, and showcased her work in numerous group exhibitions both domestically and internationally. Her art pieces have found eager buyers mostly abroad, attracting individuals from various age groups and demographics, although the majority of buyers are men. Natasa currently resides in Malmo and continues to create art, staying true to her passion and artistic journey.
